The Tsavorite crystal is extremely vibrantly colored and well formed—unusual for this size. Tsavorite is a rare member of the Garnet group, and is a rich and unusual variety of emerald green gem. It gets its bright green shade from either chromium or vanadium inclusions. This small crystal is aesthetically arranged in an elongated habit—it exemplifies the gemmy brightness and unique formation of this type of green garnet.
