Spirit Quartz Zoned Amethyst Crystal, Mpumalanga, South Africa—SM13

*This is a miniature specimen—please examine scale photos and consider dimensions carefully! This little beauty is color zoned amethyst, from South Africa! The crystal is purple quartz, and although it is only a single point rather than the cactus quartz formation, it is from the same area and forms along with the more classic spirit quartz. This crystal is beautifully zoned with purple and smoky phantom zoning! It features unique structure, color grades, and a sharp termination. There are darker and paler purple areas within the crystal. (As an unpolished piece, it has minor abrasions and inclusions, which do not lessen it's beauty). This is a well-formed, beautifully shaped miniature cluster, which self-stands on a flat natural base. This sweet little crystal would make a perfect addition to any specimen or healing collection, or a pretty jewelry focal! It often forms in amethyst, white, or golden tinged varieties. Elestial quartz refers to multiple terminations growing alongside or on top of each other, or terminations that are heavily etched with many faces. Healing Properties: Spirit Quartz is associated with higher vibrations, alignment between the lower and higher chakras, and uplifting spiritual growth.
