Spirit Quartz Phantom Amethyst Crystal Cluster, Mpumalanga, South Africa—SM14

This little beauty is spirit (or cactus) quartz, from South Africa! The cluster is white to palest purple amethyst, edged by smaller soft hued terminations and golden yellow iron staining. This crystal has a fuzzy, three dimensional phantom within the large central point! This is a very unique feature. This is a small and super sparkly natural crystal cluster, and features a main crystal which splits into multiple terminations; this structure is covered by clusters of multiple tiny crystals. It features unique structure, color grades, and sharp terminations. (As an unpolished piece, it has minor abrasions and inclusions, which do not lessen it's beauty). This is a well-formed, beautifully shaped miniature cluster, which self-stands on a flat natural base. This sweet little cluster would make a perfect addition to any specimen or healing collection. It often forms in amethyst, white, or golden tinged varieties. Elestial quartz refers to multiple terminations growing alongside or on top of each other, or terminations that are heavily etched with many faces. Phantom quartz is a visible history of the crystal’s growth—somewhat similar to tree rings, the visible layers stand out from the surrounding crystal due to environmental changes. This is most often secondary mineral deposition (chlorite, in this case), but can also appear differently due to changes in radiation or environment around the crystal. Healing Properties: Spirit Quartz is associated with higher vibrations, alignment between the lower and higher chakras, and uplifting spiritual growth. This quartz is also associated with forgiveness and inner work. Each color also has its own unique focus: amethyst is associated with protection, dreams, and spiritual guidance.
