The striations and organic structure give it a sculptural look. Slightly clouded and frosted, this is a miniature and well-formed specimen of this uncommon mineral. The crystal features a palest pink shade that is very soft and subtle. It fluoresces a pale orange under shortwave UV light (blacklight)! Truly a wonderful crystal to display, admire, and work with energetically. Pink or purple shades are Kunzite, while yellowish and greenish shades are known as Hiddenite. Spodumene varieties are valued as gemstones, and spodumene is also an important source of lithium.
