This is a rare and gorgeous Kunzite crystal, which has formed in a crystalline structure with gemmy faces and a tiny pointed termination at the end. The striations and clean structure give it a sculptural look, while the rough areas of albite give it an organic and natural connection. This is a substantial and well-formed specimen for this rare mineral. The crystal features a pale to slightly darker pink shade that is very pretty. It fluoresces a pale orange under shortwave UV light (blacklight)! Truly a wonderful crystal to display, admire, and work with energetically.

Spodumene is a lithium aluminum silicate mineral. Pink or purple shades are Kunzite, while yellowish and greenish shades are known as Hiddenite. Spodumene varieties are valued as gemstones, and spodumene is also an important source of lithium. This mineral fluoresces a beautiful orange-pink shade under UV light.
