Galena is a lead sulfide, and forms high density, low hardness cubic shapes. Sphalerite is a zinc sulfide mineral, which varies in color as it’s iron content increases.
*Note: Do not lick or ingest any part of these metallic minerals--wash hands after handling.
Healing: Galena is believed to assist during inner journeys and Shamanic work. Sphalerite is associated with strength, vitality, and grounding. It is also associated with willpower and creativity.
*Though many gems and minerals have historical and cultural associations with healing properties, these items are sold for display, study, and collector interest only.
