This is a cluster of softly textured minty to apple green fluorite crystals, from the famous mining district of Dalnegorsk, Russia. This small yet substantial cluster wows with its unique appearance, very uncommon for this well-known and hard-to-come-by locality! This specimen is unusual and striking, and would offer a lot of beauty to any specimen or healing collection. Fluorite lovers especially will be happy to add this unique cluster to their collection! This green fluorite also fluoresces blue under longwave UV light. The famous and extensive polymetallic mines of the Dalnegorsk area yield world class specimens of fluorite, calcite, all manner of metallic minerals, and much more. Recently newer production of the Dalnegorsk mines was reaching the US market, however with the war in Ukraine, these regions have been completely shut down to export for minerals.
