This is an organic miniature Chalcedony cluster, with an outer layer of glittery crystallization, from Turkey! We call this variety “chrome chalcedony”, as it gets its subtle green shades from chromium. The miniature specimen features a gentle appearance with a rough, organic shape and pale green to golden yellow shade that resembles coral. This sparkly little mini cluster would be an excellent teeny display specimen, and is also suitable for gridding and use during meditation. Locality: Kutahya, Turkey. Druzy (or drusy) is a crystallized crust layer, often microcrystalline quartz, that grows on top of other stones--it is named for the German word for dew, a reference to their sparkle. Turkish deposits are known for their exceptionally beautiful range of colors and patterns.
